Jolly Jumper is bad for the baby's legs? My husband wants to get Jolly Jumper for our baby, because it helps the muscles of the legs and the baby she loves. But my 2 girlfriend says no more, because the leg will curve right over baby, and it is not good for the baby. So who is right?
My two children used a really enjoyed the only reason I stopped using it because they have both started to walk at first. When I put in what they try to go back and threw that eventually turn into a great game.
I made sure it was set at the correct height they should be able to stand flat footed so they are not on their toes all the time Tippie. I think that can affect the muscles in the calves.
I hope that if you decide to buy / use on your baby will laugh and laugh and have a good time just like mine did. Ooooh memories
I use one, my daughter bowlegged anyway it did not matter .. Most babies are in the first year, then they pigeon-toed and to my pediatrician and document when they are mid-teens, they can finally Stright with heels and knees .. weird huh? Anyway, Jolly Jumper kept my daughter very happy and busy and did not slow the march or spoil her legs .. In fact, she walked to the top 10mos. and legs are exactly on time
Its ok, but use your common sense. The directions say not more than 15 minutes at a time. I have heard some say, Mama to leave their little there for hours I immagine this is where problems can occur. Loves her mine. It is tempting to leave it in somedays them longer!
I always heard that it helps stregthen the baby's legs so I do not see anything wrong with that. I have a jumparoo and a deckchair and a jumper for mine.
Nurses from the health center not to say, but if we did everything they said our baby would be put in cotton. my daughter loves it. I did leave there for a long amount of times, but you know when they are tired. go ahead and get one.
If its in a safe place and your baby love ... go ahead and let them use it. Your girlfriend is feeding you an old wives tale. Your baby will let you know by crying if they are uncomfortable.
We used a Jolly Jumper with our youngest and his legs were fine. They did however strengthen his legs so he stood up and stood crept into the first week it turned 7 months.
Both play in their mine almost every day when there are little legs get tired, they stay there LOL It does not do something for your baby's legs:)
