Brooks Cascadia ..........? Do you think these shoes are good for the race? Because I am afraid they are no longer a "fashion" shoes ....( They look really cool).
Otherwise, I think I get a Saucony or ASIC ... (I do not ASIC design, so probably Saucony)
Brooks Cascadia is a common technique shoes designed for running trails. Yes, they are both cool looking and functional shoes. I had a pair and enjoyed running in them, I wore them to death, fraying on the sides, the number of trails (including the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island). I am now in the market for a new pair.
Go to a specialty running shoe and get fitted with shoes that fit your foot type, walking, pronation, etc. What may be good shoes for me may not be good for you ....
