Trader Joe's sells reusable canvas grocery bags. I think they are $ 2. They are good when you shop at Trader Joe's, but I'm not sure if you want to put them anywhere else.
Also, click here for a whole lot of choice:

Many grocers are starting to sell to the fund. The price is usually a bit less than what they pay for them. It saves them from buying the paper or plastic bags and it is good for the environment. If you do not see them, ask your grocer.
Reusablebags.com visit. They have a wide variety of reusable bags. Compact foldable bags, bags made from organic cotton, knitted cotton, recycled rice bags, etc. They also offer other great products such as thermal bags for transporting hot and cold dishes, thermos and reusable bottles made from materials not -leaching, reusable cotton produce bags (because, let's face it, those who can truly too). My absolute favorite product: a reusable sandwich wrap (washable material that you wrap your sandwich instead of using hundreds of bags disposable plastic sandwich).
They are the prices are quite reasonable, and you can get discounts for ordering more than one of many articles to encourage your friends to go on an order with you!
An ECO Shopping for two people with a variety of bags for a range of applications ... go to the grocery store, the Farmer's Market, drugs, etc. It may be the end for plastic bags pile ups in your home!
This package includes: Three 10 oz sized tote natural canvas, two classic string market bags and two bags of produce.
All bags are made with natural, unbleached cotton. / http://www.ecobags.com/s.nl
and almost all department stores sell them for about $ 2-5 but if u look for BOF cheaper. Heinen sells for $ 0.99
I go to conventions in the work and put the bags they give me and use as grocery bags and carrier bags to give them. It's wonderful! And the best part is that I too work for an office environment where most bags are made from recycled bottles or plastic, so it's like double-recycling.
Look for things like that to your savings or a store of good will too.
Most grocery stores sell them for 99 cents each. This is where I got mine. You can also check in places like Wal-Mart, but look at your store gorcery first preferred. They almost always have them.
Try thrift stores, campus bookstores, community centers and galleries. The answer is cheaper to make your own, it is very easy to bend a bit length of 5 feet of tough fabric in half (legs jean old great work for this) then sew the sides closed to leave the roof open and controllers is ready, recovered an old purse or belt or from 3 feet on each side fabric bow. There are clear instructions, even at this site: http://www.andsewitis.net/sewing/totebag ... Good luck!
Albertsons has bags that I think are $ 1 and are reusable
you can order them online.
Oprah sells them on his canvases.
