Claddagh Ring

five years ago, I went to Ireland and was told there are different ways to wear a Claddagh ring by social status (single, married, engaged) .. Is this true? how to wear it then? Thank you :-)

1: the right hand of the heart: single
2: right in the heart: go out with someone
3: left hand on the heart: activity
4. the left hand, in the heart: Married.
