I want to take some jewelry handmade abroad is especially beads and custom jewelry and semi precious little. I need to declare at customs which is the minimum I can take with me without having to Pat custom?

It depends on the rules of the country where you stand. I do not think you have to declare it out of the country, but if it is sold there emay have implications customs of the importing country. Try to contact the embassy or high commission of the country where you are going to regulate.
