Japan is famous for its fashion and hairdressing, which are extreme and attract young desire. One of the most popular hairstyle is Harajuku. What is Harajuku?

Harajuku is an area in the middle of Tokyo, just around the Harajuku Station in Tokyo Sibuya district. In early 1990, it is an important area linking Tokyo to other surrounding districts. 1n 1906, the station was opened as an extension of the railway Yamanote. A few years later, there were different types of stores around the place that led to the existence of centers of fashion. The area became famous throughout Japan after being released through fashion magazines and not as Anan. This time, a group of girls were found wandering around the area of Harajuku. The way they emulated the style of fashion models in the Anan and not store. And so far, a group of young people wearing extreme styles can be seen in this area. There is also a style called cosplay (costume play). This style immitates the character of a hero or a villain in the anime or other animated film in Japan. These styles are mostly adopted and promoted by personal J-Rock. J-Rock is a name of a group from Japan. Hair assimetrical with the strong color is one of their hair style. Assimetrical hair is the hair that is cut unevenly. For example, a party is long, but other part is short. Or the length of the left and right are different.

The style of fashion becomes more popular in many countries. In America, the style of Harajuku fashion is becoming famous after American singer Gwen Stefani has created a song that made the theme of fashion entitled Harajuku "Harajuku Girls". In promoting his song, Gwen seems employing dancers wearing fashionable Harajuku in some of his concerts around the world.
