Hip Hop Chains

what are those gold rope chain neckalces and resemble those from Run DMC used to wear. there are people in my school who said they got their in LA, but I'm not ready to go all the way down there for one. Is there some stores where I could find in the Bay Area? or is there a site I could go? I really need one of those chains of hip-hop for an upcoming event.
