They take the hippie character to the next level. They sport tattoos, piercings, and strange hairstyles such as the famous dreadlocks. They also present their views but "rave parties" where they consume large quantities for most drugs and alcohol. They also take their pleas to the Internet and are in line with the latest gaming technologies. They are, somehow, the hippies rebel.

Finally, the fourth type of hippie modern times is not really composed of hippies more, as many people claim. They are hippies without a cause. Cynics like to call "ripper", because they're just ripping the hippie lifestyle, for lack of an original style and culture generations to live. There are many terms associated with them closely.
