What are the most comfortable shoes to wear on an international flight? Sneakers? Sandals? Boots? I take a flight from U.S. to Europe this summer, and I'm not sure to wear my sneakers on the plane or pack them in my checked baggage. Also, what are the essential elements to put in my hand luggage? Thank you!

Sneakers. Sure.

Wear them. And pack an extra pair.

I wear my sandals during the flight. My feet swell slightly during the flight and would be very uncomfortable shoes. Normally, I wear sandals on the photo

I guess everyone is different. I like to wear slip-on anything for long flights, and I spend time in my stockinged feet.

If I were you, I have a good pair of walking shoes with Velcro instead of laces, and leave the sneakers at home.

It's really annoying for other passengers having to move, stand in the alley, and open top containers for your stuff. Minimal baggage and checked baggage minimum is best for everyone.

I suppose if that was your first flight and if I were a smart-Alec (actually I kind of am), I would suggest you take a Bible (accident), and a bag of extra sickness. Sometimes one they give you is not big enough.

But seriously, do not suggest a bad Bible. If you are a woman and some Moron in the seat next starts hitting on you, simply remove the Bible and start reading.

I wear shoes with laces (like your feet swell during the flight), but I pack slippers with rubber soles to wear during the flight.

Sneakers, especially PUMA.

wear your sneakers, wide and comfortable. Click the website link for your responses concerning hand baggage

If you are a woman, wear these ballerinas are in vogue now. This way, you can easily put your feet in and out of them.

I am NOT wearing sandals because airplanes tend to be cold while high in the air, including a night flight.

In your Carryon, certainly a change of clothes (in case of lost luggage or delayed). Perform basic hygiene products and, toothbrush, washcloth, small bottle of lotion, brush / comb.
The worst of it abroad without a change of clothes. Especially since their clothes tend to cost much more than here in the U.S.

Enjoy!

Wear a pair of comfortable shoes with socks or pack in your luggage.

Many international flights you are little slippers to wear, but otherwise you can remove your shoes and wear socks.

Many airlines also offer a small kit that toothbrush, toothpaste, etc., but they carry pack, just in case.

Remember to place the sample sizes of toothpaste and mouthwash (two oz) or less so.

You'll need everything you need for your morning and / or routine night, book, etc.

Wear loose clothing, too.

Sneakers would be OK, but not my first choice. Europeans do not wear sneakers as we do, as a common shoe.
