Oxford RestaurantsWhere can I find a list of halal restaurants in Oxford?

Well, I'm new to Oxford and I'm looking for halal restaurants.

After eating a number of Indian restaurants in Oxford, the Halal Kashmir remains one of my favorite company, serving good food at an incredibly reasonable price. Starters are not above £ 5 each, and lines are almost four pounds - £ 5 mark, with the most expensive is a very respectable price of around £ 8 / 9. Rice is appprox 2 pounds, even for the most special varieties. The menu is pretty extensive, and it is a good selection of specialties of the house a little more unusual to choose too. On my last visit, which was run out of time, and spent with my partner, we had popadoms for entry, and for the major I chose the Chicken Marsala with special fried rice, and my partner at home Byriani particular vegetable, which was served with fried eggplant battered and deep, which was unusual, but delicious. We also had a Peshwari Naan, which was again a very decent size, and incredibly good. Our entire bill for both of us was only a‚¬ 26.

All foods were served quickly and very well presented, the area to come with a small salad. They were perfectly cooked, spicy curries are the correct measure and is neither too dry nor too wet, and unlike many Indian restaurants I visited were not floating with oil or horrible fluorescent color. The rice is not sticky or undercooked, and the naan was delicious and perfectly big enough to share. The decor inside the restaurant is not as bad as some I've eaten in - the tablecloths are paper, and the restaurant has a spacious feel, despite its size. Another attractive place for many is its "Bring your own alcohol policy (and hence its popularity with athletes from the students!).

Overall, the Halal Kashmiri a very pleasant evening. It may be the best place to get a first appointment, but this is the place to go if you want at a reasonable price and good Indian food, and is certainly worth a try at some time during your stay in Oxford.

Have you tried e Cowley I know they have a lot of restaurants and takeaways, or perhaps the Walton Street? cannot believe that nowhere else could, tomorrow, im in Oxford I'll take a look at the path of JR

Sorry, not sure of the list but I have eaten at Kashmir Halal Cowley Road on and had a meal with friends.
