Does anyone know of a poodle rescue organization in the Rocky Mountain area? I just lost my boxer Boxer Cardiomyiopothy-sorry for my spelling. She was one of two dogs. The other is a poodle. I just know she is very lonely now that she has not a friend to play with. I was thinking of another poodle or another boxer. But to have another boxer scares me that my next will be with us for two years as the last. If you have information on all the dogs that I could rescue or any other organization or boxers or poodles located in or near the CO would be the biggest help! Thank you.
You can go to:
www.petfinder.com/
and click on the link at the top of the page that reads SHELTERS AND RESCUE GROUPS.
You can then search for a rescue dog's breed and your zip code.
No, it deosnt
Dod you try to search petfinder.org? You get my zip code, race, sex, etc. ... it doesn't have to be a rescue operation, it can be in your local shelter where they put the dogs almost every day, and you can do two things well, save a life and get your Poodle a friend.
The search instructions that you have already been provided is sufficient.
Petfinder is my poodle to Reserve Poodle Cotopaxi, CO (rescuerehab@highstream.net)
Albuquerque has a poodle rescue, too, which will also be visible in an Internet search.
Good luck!
