Is it malfunctioning for you and your knees when you have a good rotation? Hey guys. I heard running is bad for the knees. Firstly, I have perfect machine operation and everything. I just finished season skiing to school. I know I'll run more, but I heard it was bad for the knees. Even if I still run with perfect gear and shoes, will I still damage / damage my knees. I do not want to have missed something or other problem when I am around 40 +. I'm really fit and healthy, can you guys help me? Thank you.
First, you'll be less well off 40 = lack of exercise.
joined a scramble. However with proper gear and you should be allowed provided you do not do it. Many marathon runners for example, to reduce the mileage as they injusred over the years. If you will never get seriously hurt involves too many factors such as your approach, your weight and also your footstike to name a few.
My advice is to begin to moderate. 2-3 times per week running, so maybe another form cardio cross trainer as cycling / swimming. Also, do not run contantly on the same surface: it varies. Too much asphalt for aexample can cause problems long term. Always stretch and warm.
Never underestimate how much a moderate weight training help. Even twice a week with your legs to help strengthen weight-bearing joints. Just a little more strength will help the knee capsule, for example absorb more impact. Keep your core muscles, such as lower back / ABS / buttocks so strong. This will be in the long term, you protesct.

Remember, moderate. You may want later, but the ease in it and learn your body and its limitations.

Running is not bad for the knees of his term so u
Yes it is. But I think if you made everything possible to stay healthy should not hurt you. I think it hurts you when you do not have good equipment and have bad knees to begin.
I run track for my school inside and outside and I've never really had a problem, but if you find you have problems you are Oyou have good shoes that match your feet. If you have a great arc sure to have a good shoe works, but if u have flat feet choose something with less of an arc. Also be sure if pain experience you ice your knee u 30 min 30 min off times. keep it really hurt your muscles. ALWAYS STRETCH AND BEFOR works!
Hi I am 36 years old. I run 3-5 times a week, I have no idea how I run, some days I drive my car faster than others. Anyway I have no pain in the knees, and if I do not feel discomfort, I slowed down a bit.
I've been running for 25 years, 25-30 miles more per week in my younger years. The knees are still OK.
