Is this the ratchet on Sidi shoes make a difference? I will buy a new pair of biking shoes and I watched the rulers. They are up in the area $ 270, and thats very expensive. The only real difference is the ratchet on the top of the shoe. Is Ratchet really make a difference, or does velcro shoes do just as well?
Thank you!
If you are not a serious runner, then you really do not need the shoe Sidi D.. It is a stiffer soled shoe to keep your foot planted on the pedal and can cause pain after all if you did not intend to race your bike shoes ... great good, no question and I have a pair myself, but don 't get a great value for a walk or just general Mtbing for the hell of it. For races if they are fantastic. The ratchet on the Sidi really keep the foot in this shoe, no question. The shoe Velcro (any) is probably very good and I usually use to travel or casual laced a pair is usually what I take out of the closet. A good pair of shoes with a shoe is just as important as the shoe.
