What is the difference between gloves and ski gloves snowboard? I did some browsing online and found a site that sells ski gloves and snowboard gloves. What is the difference?
They pretty much seem to be the same for me ...
For the record, I ski and board, it would be a type is better or more versatile than the other?
Actually ... nothing more than the style and color. There guantlet high (how high the wrist they will) gloves ski gloves and ski gloves small ... the same thing for gloves snowboarding.
Yes, some have extra padding here and there, or some reinforcement on one place rather than another ... but essentially they are all pretty similar.
This being said ... they are all similar in terms of what they are made. A pair of low K-Mart in the non-waterproof is not as good as two from a ski shop .... general.
That said, the best pair of gloves that I bought over the last two years were $ 20 for leather work gloves with waterproof membrane and Thinsulate lining. I bought them to wear when I ran the machines snowmaking ... I ended up wearing the ski too. Mountain Hardware would $ 80 for a leather glove that was not even half as good. I usually wear ski gloves. "Most of the time I wear a thin pair of gloves Gore Windstopper N2S liner. If it's cold I put a pair of ice climbing or Pro mittens.
I ski and snowboard gloves, but they are the same as the ski gloves.
The main difference is that the gloves snowboard will sometimes built in Wristguards.
You can get gloves ski or snowboard with extra padding and extra wear-resistant material. Two come with wristbands high or low.
snowboarding gloves are strengthening the fingers.
snowboarding gloves are top of your arm and tend to be thicker than ski gloves while ar shorter, thinner (if you can get the pin) and more flexible.
I know there are gloves specifically snopwboard THA freestyle gloves have reinforcement in the palm so that if you were to take your board in the area of your track wouldnt jack your gloves, I saw them with built in wrist guards, neither of these would be useful for skiing other than I don t know what the difference would
