What is the perception of engineering students in U.S. business schools in Europe? I intend to enroll in an MBA program top in Europe, focusing on entrepreneurship. I have a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, and finished my MS from the University of Notre Dame while working full time at an aerospace company and research university. My work experience ranges from engineering, project engineer, lead designer to systems engineer. (2 + yrs) My biggest concern is the lack of finance, accounting, marketing and management experience. What is the perception of engineering students in U.S. business schools in Europe? With my experience (2-3 years experience), is it easy to get into a top MBA program with Europe or the U.S.?
There are actually some advantages to a "foreign" MBA.
According to the nation, you can have the advantage of proficiency in several languages.
You'd be a candidate for international management.
You add a level of diversity for some companies.
Hope this helps!
