What is the difference between Wenger and Victorinox Swiss Army watches? There seems to be two manufacturers of the same? What is the best?
Victorinox and Wegner are sister companies. Both knives supply the Swiss Army, 50-50 in an agreement with the Swiss government. Victorinox is actually the older of the two divisions and therefore the conclusions of the line "Original Swiss Army Knife tag", while Wegner claims division of the line "Genuine Swiss Army Knife tag." Both companies are required to comply the same specification for blades supplied the Swiss army, so that you can not really say one is better than another I think! Now, knowing a little about the history, I would say they probably both have similar standards to the extent that their watches go. In addition, they are both a comparable price, both come with a warranty of 3 years, and both are available at U.S. retailers several States. I would say that if you are interested in getting an account, go to the brand that offers the style you prefer.
Ok there you have it-I hope this helps!
